In all this discussion I forgot to mention one significant difference among PRV's: each end user had its own gasket set. Only the castings are basically identical. Peugeot and Renault are supposed to have much sturdier head gaskets than Volvo. I'm guessing DeLo inherited the weaker Volvo set, given the number of head gasket problems reported on the List. Renault also had it's own intake manifold O rings. Are square cross section, not circular.
