Either the year (84) is a typo or it is possible that in the State it was origionally registered in it was first registered in 1984 so they called it an 84 when it was sold, titled, and registered. There is no such thing as a 1984 Delorean. The vin # will tell you EXACTLY what it is. This is just another reason that you cannot go by just the seller's description. You can always e-mail him a question before you bid so ask him about that.
