Hi, with my new supercharged EFI set up it is looking like the best place to mount the air cleaner is vertically between the valley and cut a hole for it to poke through the engine cover. My question is, what is the purpose of the tube in the centre of the inlet valley that bends round to near the oil filler cap. Bear in mind i am running a fully programmable EFI computer and the valley is now empty and completely stripped of all K Jetronic gear and i will not be running the original idle speed motor etc etc .... What would i be effecting if i disgarded of the tube and sealed the hole in the manifold? Does the oil cap/crankcase need this in place? All thoughts appreciated,Cheers Nick- sydney To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
