I was hoping to post that fixing the t'stat gasket solved the problem but ... I pressurized the system and there was leak down but no leak. Today when I checked, the block is full of coolant again. I suspect: - Head gaskets - Y-Pipe fittings I sure wish something would simply squirt. It would make it a lot easier.
