Hi Nick

I had a fibreglass kit car many years ago and that had to be painted because
the gel coat did not have a very good finish.

They had to use a Primer Etcher base coat otherwise the paint will peel.

Hi, this is a question i posted a while ago but didnt see it come
through to the list?
Before i put the frame back under in the next few weeks i would like
to re-paint the engine bay in a Black Satin. Just after other
peoples thoughts or experiences with painting over fibreglass. I was
thinking of a light prime maybe, then 2 top coats of acrylic black.
