I just changed my oil today after about 3500 miles since my last change. The oil came out reddish and smelled burned. Is this just because I didn't change it soon enough, or is this the result of a deeper problem-the lack of correct oil pressure? I'm not sure if this was described already on the list but- How can the pressure be checked? I've installed pins in all my gauges-so the needle in the oil gauge goes past the highest number and hits the pin always. I run 10W30, and have never had this problem before until now. what do you guys think? -Dani B. #5003 To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
