With all their prior hard work, "extensive research" and "product testing" it
would be more than fair, reasonable & expected for owners that have previously
converted their car into a Time Machine to charge a fee for this information.

Turn about is fair play right? 
Or would you rather just "give" everyone the numbers to all those LED bulbs &
rear antenna masts for free?
