Fred, Your brakes probably look like this on the inside. http://www.specialtauto.com/delorean-parts/images/brake-caliper-1.jpg I would be very careful in trying to drive the car. The time spent in trying to get the brakes up and the chance take to drive it 10 miles wouldn't be worth the risk. The damage to the seals is done and I don't think you will revive them.
