Anders, Take the connection off and clean it and put it back on. Over time the connection builds up corrosive layer and the current demand has to go thru a smaller good surface to get what you want. At that point it will get hot. John Hervey www.specialtauto.com P.S. The fuses will do the same thing. Plug and un plug them a few times to re establish the connection. Even apply some electrical grease to slow down the process. -----Original Message----- From: anbrahaesl [mailto:anders@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, September 08, 2004 1:39 AM To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [DML] Hot battery pole Hi, I noticed, a couple of weeks ago, when turning my battery switch off (monted on the battery's negative pole) that the pole was very hot. What could be the cause of this? I hadn't driven the car hard, just normal driving and it was a normal summer day not too hot or anything.
