Biggest problem you're likely to encounter is inability to use the stock adjusting bracket. DeLo adjusting bolt is much less than 180 degrees from the pivot bolt -- simply make yourself a new bracket that curves around the housing. Notice the bracket that holds the pivot bolt at the back of the alternator is not cast into the housing. Input terminal may be a spade rather than threaded stud. Make sure the alternator has a built in voltage regulator...
