Hi gang, You guys are absolutely amazing! For people to even mention helping me with my problem DeLorean just leaves me stunned! Much thanks to you Dennis to suggest this to a person whom you haven't met before but like everyone else on the list shares a passion for the DeLorean. I did go over and take a look at the wrecked DeLorean in Chesapeake and I must say that it is certainly a mess. The owner of the yard says that certain parts of the frame might be rusted after I told him that was what I was primarily interested in. The frame as a whole seems O.K. except for the front crumple tube which is exactly that-Crumpled. It might be possible to work with it but I would have to get some pictures together (with the permission of the junkyard of course)and see what our experts here think. I can't remember the VIN to the car but it has Maryland plates and was assembled in Dec. 1981. Mighty sad to see a car which was once someone's pride and joy to have tadpoles swimming in the glove box and plants growing out of the front seat. The pictures of my frame are listed in the photo section as "Frame Rust-#3760" and I would appreciate any of the members taking the time to view them and giving me your thoughts on whether or not repair would be possible. Thanks again for everyone's help! Mike #3760 --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "Ratfink65" <dennis.p.lowery@xxxx> wrote: > I was thinking the same thing.
