Yea Bill, We made the same mistake. The Delorean manual prints the sequence as: 1-6-3-5-2-4 which is technically correct but misleading (for me) to think that meant 1-6 3-5 2-4 (where 1 and 6 fire closely, as you say, 30degrees) If you are correct about the timing wheel marks, it would have been nicer for them to print: 6-3-5-2-4-1 or as you said, 6-3 5-2 4-1.
