[DML] Re: Oil Pressure Weirdness

On #17084 I was getting some weird readings for oil pressure too. At 
one point the pressure would go off the scale (pegged straight up) 
and then would return to normal. 

I ordered a new Oil Pressure sending unit (the one calibrated 
properly - about $35). When I installed it I found the wire going to 
the original sender was loose so when it was off the gauge would be 
pegged. After replacing it I have had steady and normal readings ever 
since.

I don't mean to say the sending unit is the problem but it is a easy 
way to rule out what I think is the most probable cause.
