Generally your brake pedal will pulse and steering wheel will shake/vibrate with bad rotors. This is provided you don't have any bad steering parts which will cause the steering wheel to shake and vibrate while slowing down as well. If this isn't the case, then its probably pads, take the tires and you will be able to see how worn your pads are. Make sure there is no grit or dirt on or near the pads as this can cause some squeaking and do a numnber on your rotors if a particle gets between the pad and rotor.
