[DML] Re: accident

Another owner here in Vegas had something simular to him happen. I'll
let him go into details, and price costs if he wants to share those.
But from what I saw on his car, the damage wasn't that bad at all,
and never touched the underbody from what I remember. He removed the
panel, and sent it over to our local body guy who has experience with
DeLorean collision repair. The guy banged the dent out, and
refinished the panel. After a new marker light was installed, I
couldn't even tell that the quarter panel had ever been removed, let
alone repaired.

Under body damage isn't as big a problem as you'd think. With the
body panels "skinned" across the underbody, it like driving a giant
truck bed that's been turned inside out. And if the underbody does
happen to be damaged, I don't think that it's something that couldn't
be repaired. Especially after seeing the repair done to Joseph
Molino's car. If nothing else, remove the charcoal canister, and
check inside the pontoon for damage. I'll put money down that you
won't find a thing happened from this collision.
