My first guess would be that the locking solenoid inside the door is grounded. The clicking relay you hear is the circuit breaker popping on and off. I cannot explain why it is doing what it is doing. Unplug the lock module and see if it stops so at least you know which circuit is misbehaving. From there it is now just troubleshooting. You will probably have to open the door up and see what is going on inside. I think you need to fix something in the central locking circuit, either a wire or perhaps the coil in the door.
