What are some of the symptoms of a bad steering column bushing? My steering seems like it is too tight and I get a groaning/creeking sound when I turn. It also seems to be much worse on a hot day, I'm assuming because the rubber bushing heats up and grabs. My car is noticably handling better since it finally got an alignment, but some of the instability is still present. Now it tracks straight but the problem reoccurs when trying to make a slight steering correction. Its like the steering wheel moves too rigidly and causes over correction. The wheel doesnt turn smoothly like I imagine it should. Anyway, I'm thinking its the bushing, but if anyone has any other ideas I would really appreciate it! thanks, adam To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
