Thanks for all your explanation and tips so far. I can give you some more information about this problem. A friend of mine was present that has just some more technical knowledge and he told me it was a module that controlled the frequency valve. Thanks for correcting the K-jetronic mix up, I'm not the biggest technical expert about the DeLorean but now I will use the term Lambda ECU. ;-) While it was disconnected he noticed that the frequency valve wasn't working, after connecting the plug, it was. It looks like the Lambda ECU is working although Im not sure if it is working correctly. I should also tell you that I live in the Netherlands and over here we don't have to have the catalytic converter present for this particular car. (it has to do with the year it was built in) The previous owner removed the cat and replaced it with a stainless steel replacement tube. I will take all your information to tackle this problem but I'm going on vacation this friday for two weeks so it could take some time before I will let you all know. Thanks!
