Have you tried shorting the switch leads together to make sure you don't have another electrical problem? The reverse lamp switch is actuated by the shift forks in the gearbox. If you are not getting reverse fully engaged, the shift fork may be missing the plunger on the switch. You should also make sure there aren't any extra washers or seals on the switch before you screw it into the gearbox. -- Mike > - > check the switch with a multimeter, new switch may be bad. > > -- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, PRC1216@xxxx wrote: > > Hey all, help end my frustrations. > > I have checked and cleaned the connections to the reverse > switch, I even > > replaced it with a new one.
