Maybe this is the part you and so many other'here just don't get.... There is no point in arguing with these people who make smart assed remarks. I don't give these people the time of day. Usually, I pretend they are not even there, as if I were deaf. If someone is nice, and wants to make compliments or just need verification, IE: "Is this really a DeLorean? Made of stainless steele? From the BTTF movie?" I will answer a quick yes, followed by the next obvious question answers of, "It's got an aluminum Volvo V-6".....etc. But if some wanker starts making smart remarks or actually thinks he knows more about the car than I do then I ignore them. You have to understand the mentality of these people. It is like a "pro-choice" talking to a "pro-life"....nothing good is going to happen. These people are the jealous of our success, they are bitter that we are stealing the attention they are not getting. These are usually people who's idea of customizations are things you get at the auto store that stick on parts of the car....like day-glo windshield wipers on an Iroc-Z. So don't raise your blood pressure dealing with these idiots. It has nothing to do with you or the car, or John Delorean. It would not matter if it was a Ferrari, Lamborghini, whatever... you would get the same rap from these idiots. IGNORE THEM, and save your blood pressure! - Videobob VIN#5278 >From: "Randal Atamaniuk" <martydmc12@xxxxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: Re: [DML] DeLorean ownership; an ego trip & funniest thing ever >heard Cont'd... >Date: Sun, 25 Apr 2004 02:14:32 -0600 > >This is where I get confused, and frustrated with non-owners.
