I know this topic has hit the DML before, but I was unable to find it in the archives. Anyway, the interior lights are supposed to illuminate when a door is opened right? Mine fails to do this. From looking at the diagram and in order, there needs to be a buzzer logic box, which I don't think is present inside my car. I believe this because I have a disconnected connector- black, rectangular with quite a few wires running to it underdash. This connector goes to the box right? It has a violet/blue stripped wiring running to it I traced from the lights switch, also to the diode. I have red, blue, and black diode cases, which are for what? I've been driving the car with out the interior lights and its kind of a pain when you're getting in at night especially with groceries or something, always having to manually turn the lights on. Lastly, my door ajar light kind of dims on and off at times while driving, this JUST started happening-before it was fine, what should I inspect for this problem? Switches both have the rubber tips on them.
