I was filling up at a gas station right before a parade last summer 
when someone came up to talk to me about the car.  He insisted that 
the car was made/sold right after the Back to the Future movie in 
1985.  All I said was "let me show you something" and I took him 
over to the driver side door and proceeded to point at the 
manufactured date on the vin plate.  He sat there and stared at 
it...I said "so what do you make of that?"  I about fell over after 
his response...he said "oh I guess Back to the Future came out in 
1981."
