[DML] Re: DeLo Catalytic Converter -- Honeycomb vs BB's

DeLo catalytic converter uses a honeycomb, not BB's. The wire mesh is
there to isolate it from the housing (operating temperature of a
converter is 700 degrees or so -- even hotter than the exhaust manifolds).

Be glad your internals disintegrated rather than welding themselves
shut. A stopped up converter will put you to walking.
