I can tell you that the top end limit for this engine is around 220,
normally aspirated (they shouldn't be turbo'd). However, DMCH are
limited by having to retain the lambda system. European versions are
capable of more because you can do away with it.

My own _personal_ experience of Houston's engine is that it lacks
low-end torque compared to a stock DeLorean engine with catalytic
converter removed. It still shines near the red-line though. Removing 
the cat and lambda are luxuries we can play with over here in Europe! My 
own car has the cat removed and ignition and fuelling from a
Volvo B28E. It's a lot of fun to drive.
