Leave that "metal bar" alone, that is the pipe to the cold start valve - it will come off with the manifold. If you really want to take it off - there is a screw in the middle of where it ataches to the manifold. Be warned, there is an O-Ring under it and you may need to replace it if you take it off. There are 4 bolts that hold the intake to the engine - 2 on the left and 2 on the right. regards, Michael vin 6067 > New problem. > > Removing the intake manifold. I have been able to move the top part > thats conected to the distributor cap, but when I got benieth it, > theres a metal line/bar that goes to something off the left hand To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
