[DML] Re: History of Gull Wing Cars

What's the author's name? I remember browsing through a bookstore a
couple of years ago, and I ran across a Classic Car book by a guy
named Quentin Willson. Apparently, he's praised as a very
knowledgeable automobile "aficionado" in the UK.

I was flipping through the book, looking for the DeLorean, and sure
enough, it was there. I was disappointed when I started reading,
however. Almost every sentence written in the book about the D was
both derogatory and absolutely false. If I remember correctly, the
book seemed to imply that Willson owned (or had owned) a DeLorean,
but I could not believe that.

Willson hates DeLoreans with a passion, but seems to know nothing
about them. There are lots of things about the DeLorean not to like,
but all of the reasons he described were either totally false, or
they applied equally well to other cars that he raved about in the
very same book.

I didn't buy the book. I wouldn't want the guy to get a single dime
of my money. Perhaps he has a tremendous bias against JZD or the
DeLorean marquee that has blinded his objective nature. But that
just proves to me that, at best, he is an unreliable source of
information with regard to automobiles.
