Hello: As I am planning and moving forward with the repairs and upgrades on my DeLorean, the issue of changing out the fluid in my manual transmission. After attempting to do some research on this subject, I am in still need of advice. Do I really need to do this procedure? The car sat unmoved for close to 20 years. When I removed the oil that was in the vehicle when I first got it, the oil had somewhat seperated. Would this happen also to the transmission fluid? If I do need to go ahead and change the fluid, is there any other activites I need to perform when doing this? I believe I remember seeing an older post by DMCJoe stating that I needed to replace my rubber seals, etc when doing this procedure. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
