Dan & Darryl Bad ones do read 80 + and were never calibrated correctly to read oil pressure. You also will get different pressure with different oil viscosity. 20-40 is the normal oil to use and with the correct oil pressure gauge that works correct like mine you will get correct pressure. With our unit and the correct oil you will read just below 80lb's normal and around 30+ lb's hot and at idle. Again, oil viscosity has a lot to do with it.
