I am new here and just acquired my 1981 DeLorean which has, for most of the three weeks that I have had it, been in the shop to repair little things that had been neglected by the prior owner. I am a new member of this list. I always wanted one and am really pleased with it. I fail to understand why members are so judgmental of the creator. We should enjoy our cars for the engineering and design achievement. Incidentally, I recommend reading "On a Clear Day You Can See General Motors" by John Z. DeLorean. He had the strength to buck the establishment at GM who were telling us what we should drive, rather, than finding out what we wanted to drive. The officers of GM should have been listening to John Z. DeLorean.
