I tried welding a nut onto it which did not work for me, so I started to drill it out then used a screw extractor / easy out. Bad move. In the end I used a dremel with the attachment that looks like a rubber (eraser). It took several but in then end I managed to gind it all out then re taped the hole and when i put it all back together I used a longer bolt.
