Thanks to everyone for explaining steering geometry to me. All of the situations that could change caster, camber and toe have happened to me. Frame damage, you name it. The only way I was ever going to find out what was -really- going on was to get it to the shop for alignment. The only way I was going to do that, was to replace as much of the front end as I could. Mike Cohee and I put new tie-rod ends and sway bar bushings in last night...the final pieces I thought necessary to make an attempt at alignment. I owe Mike a public display of gratitude for the constant use of his garage and labor (and food) during the winter. Thanks Mike. Well as they say, "It all comes out in the wash". The front end was able to be perfectly aligned. Despite everything the frame had been through I had zero camber defects. The new bushings eliminated the brake pedal pulse that I had. New brake calipers too. Thanks again everyone.
