Joe, When I locke my key in my car at a gas station in podunk North Carolina, I just called 411 and got a locksmith to come by. THe guys tried to fiddle with the lock outside the car, but was not able to open it. Luckily my key was on the center console, and the guy was able to look at the key and run back to his van and cut a key from memory. ( he actually had to take several trips to look at the key and then go back to cut it). He worked for about 30 minutes and charged me $40. If they bring the car back to you and reimburse you, this is what you might have to do, but I would reccomend this before you try to open the door any other way, which might cause damage to the car.
