I had the same issue when I got BZK, Try the connectors by the diodes at the
drivers front of the center console, mine were all unplugged. These are the
diodes for the door lights.

Subject: [DML] Wiring junction
Hi All
I have a problem with one of the cars in the DOC that I'm having trouble
tracing.
One of the fuses (I forget which) powers the interor lamps, door marker
lights, bonnet lamp and engine compartment lamp. Each has a purple +12
wire.
On this particular car, the bonnet lamp works, the engine compartment
doesn't but we don't care about that one anyway, but the door and interior
lights don't work at all. All grounds are good. The wiring diagram shows
the fuse supplying a cluster of 4 purple wires, and I know one at least is
working. Can anyone shed any light (hur hur) on where in the car the break
might be - ie where is that union?
Thanks
Martin

Under the console (on my car at least). Are 3 or 4 junctions in there,
including "RO Junction" referenced on my modified headlight circuit.

Does anyone have access to a good quality copy
(electronic?) of the Delorean wiring diagram? I
bought the entire set of service manuals some time ago
and while the manuals were pretty good, the large copy
of the wiring diagram that came with them was
illegible. I thought I remembered someone on here
bringing this up a while back.
Thanks in Advance,

The plate signifies compliance with FCC radio interference laws part 15 which states that it cant give off harmful radio signals and must accept any it might encounter.Im sure you have all read this somewhere before. Most likely those cars with it were found to emmit an unacceptable levels of interference and sent back for modification.

Well the orders keep coming in and a lot of you have asked about the
distribution based on my last e-mail.
While the numbers are staying in about the same proportion we are adding a
few new international subscriptions.
CA still is in a solid lead with the Northwest close behind. Europe is third
and as far as new international we have added Australia and Italy.(Look for
shots of France and Italy in the third issue of the magazine.)
I believe we are at about 30 states with subscribers and a mix in age from
teenagers to retirees.
We have about 10 more videos to add to the main web page so hopefully they
will be up on the web page soon including on with the D-Rex.

List,
Just received my first copy of Gullwing Magazine yesterday and it was
more than worth the wait. This is a top notch, quality publication.
I have been a subscriber to many car and truck magazines and this is
by far one of the best efforts I have seen for an exotic vehicle.
Delorean Enthusiasts, do yourself a favor and order your subscription
now and enjoy this publication from Issue #1. In case you missed the
order info, here it is again below:
Subscriptions are available now, starting with issue one.
The cost is:
$48 for 4 issues per
year. ($53 Canada, $66 Foreign)
Please send check or money order to:
Gullwing Magazine

For your convenience, PayPal is also available. Just go to
www.PayPal.com and have your funds directed to:

Kudos to Ron & Cheryl Wester on the first issue of
Gullwing Magazine. As first issues go, it is awesome.
Since it doesn't enigrate modified DeLoreans (as one
DeLorean magazine does) it should really appeal to our
new set of younger owners/enthusiasts.
Thanks ron & Cheryl

Just got the first copy of the new "Gullwing Magazine" that Ron Wester is
putting out and I must say it's very nicely done. It's kind of the "Hot Rod"
version of a Delorean car magazine with some very good articles on
modifications and an excellent article about maintenance and repair of the
Air Conditioning System in the D, which was written by Walter Coe. It's great
to see so many Delorean enthusiasts putting forth with the time and effort to
assist both Ron and Ken K with articles and information for their Delorean
magazines.

Dear List,
VIN #17006 does not have this plate. It also has the 85 MPH speedometer.
Could the low 17xxx number have something to do with these discrepancies?
My "Unleaded Fuel Only" label was just a fragment so I could not tell if it
was in French or not. It is supposed to be. Is it possible to get these
labels in French?

www.specialtauto.com has some .jpg's that are pretty good. The best
hard copy by far is the huge wall piece from DOA.

Paul, the car in question is Steve S's right-hand drive and all these
diodes are elsewhere. However these work on the earth side of the system
and the purple supply wire should be permanently "live". It's not.
