Before I dump them onto e-Bay, I have about 7 years of DeLorean World
magazines, I'm not sure they're complete, would have to check. If you
would like them or need to fill some slots contact me off line. I
shouldn't say this but I don't hold picture books of cars with their
doors open in high esteem, I'll make you a heck of a deal if you can use
all or any part.

Les

Humble??? Come now, there's nothing "humble" about our proud cars!

The real reason they don't want you to mill the heads is not because you
will
run out of spring tensioning adjustment for the cam chains. What actually
happens is when you mill the head you are actually moving the camshaft
closer
to the crankshaft. Because the links in the timing chain are a fixed
length
and the timing gear on the end of the camshaft is pinned in place with no
degree adjustment, you are actually changing the cam timing when you mill
the
heads. And changing cam timing can create a whole different bunch of
problems.

Subject: Custom Wheels/ground effects/exhaust

Hi List,

I am looking for custom wheels for my Delorean, however i don't want
to have to change my speedometer, so i need the correct tire size
and aspect ratio for either 15" in front 16" in rear or 16" front and
17" rear. I have seen a site called William Kay Wheels.com that
supposedly sells rims specifically for the Delorean (he's also
supposed to be a member of DOA)I was wondering if he is still in
business as i can't seem to get in touch with him. Does anyone know
where to get rims and tires for the Delorean? If so, is there a site
that i can see what the rims look like and not just get a parts
number or some such thing? Also, Does anyone know where to get a
ground effects kit for the Delorean? GTS makes a generic kit that
supposedly fits the car, but they no longer make a front air dam
extension or rear fascia, just the side skirts.Lastly, will ansa
exhaust tips fit on the Delorean tailpipe? I was thinking about
putting two outlets per pipe, but i don't know what will fit and how
to get it on. I hope some of you can help.

Sincerely,

Steve T.
