If any of you find a r/c delorean please tell me....When I was five I saw a
remote controlled delorean at the BTTF shop in Universal Studios Orlando
Florida. That was five years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday,it
was a fid driving it around circleing around me and it bumped into my foot.Of
course I fell Down and picked it up looked at it and set it down. I went into
the store and my mom asked how much they were they were $50.00. Then we
walked out and left the park.
Since then I have been calling and searching every store within 500miles and
gave up.
So if any of you find one please post very fast.

How can I test my low feul light? I have never seen it on and I have had

I was flipping through the new issue of "Gear" magazine,(July/August 2000),

across a 2 page spread of a Delorean. It includes a column containing a
brief history on the car
and what Deloreans currently sell for. The article did a very good job of
pointing out the
negatives and the positives about our car. It's nice to see an article that
doesn't do a
hatchet job on the DMC-12.

Although Darryl won't be at the show with his modified D, I will be
bringing mine. It is a 5,000 original mile
1981 with a 4.3 liter Chevy engine bored out to who knows what, with
custom headers, freeflow exhaust,
4-barrel carb, and many other racing mods. Very fast--almost too much
for a Delorean. The work was
done by a well respected racing shop in Boston --I don't beleive that
the car has ever been shown before.
Is anyone else bringing an engine swapped D to the show? I would like
to compare notes on several issues.

for a fair amount...

The cleveland.com website has a webcam that watches the Rock Hall:

Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM you might see 70+ DeLoreans pass
through the image in front of the Rock Hall on the Driving Tour. It updates
once per minute.
Assuming the weather is good, Saturday's Car Show will take place in the
center right section of the image.
As I write this, I can see a boat in the image, docked just behind the Rock
Hall and to the right. This is the Goodtime III, which will take us on
Sunday morning's Lake Erie Cruise. Feel free to log on and watch our
departure at 11:00 AM Sunday.
This Traffic cam shows a section of Freeway where the Driving Tour will pass
by (right to left) between 12:30 and 2:00 Friday afternoon. This webcam
gives live video feed.

The front brakes are exactly the same as a ford cortina and the rear brake
pads and callipers
are jaguar, even the park break pads are identical, the indicator switches
are of a mid 80's mini
with exactly the same Lucas part no.

even add your own using the form, the list is growing steadily, take a look

The body dies were made in Germany but the panels were pressed in Ireland.
There was a documentary produced by Robert Lamrock with interviews with one
exmployees explaining 'you had the stainless steel which came from british
stainless steel came via caroway(??) in ireland here', the front and rear

Actually, it's the SHIP that he and his group are restoring, not the dies.
The dies are still underwater. The sentence was written poorly.

hey Brian,
To test the low fuel light you simply have to go to the front of the car
where the fuel tank is and connect the light green/orange wire to the black
wire that connects to the fuel tank sending unit. Before you do that make
sure you turn the ignition on to get the light to turn on. That should make
the light illuminate.

To salvage those dies if they are still on the bottom, would be a good sum of money! The price would really depend on exactly how deep they are. If at 100 feet or shallower you could just use SCUBA and a crane and hoist them up, but if they are deeper that that then you are talking Surface supplied Diving and decompression dives. (which would really be expensive) Not to mention the boat that will lift and transport. Oh and I forgot to mention trying to find them on the bottom....that could take awhile...but at least now they have things like Side Scan Sonar which can locate things alot faster.
I spent 8 years as a Navy Diver, not really doing Salvage but I have alot of friends who are Navy Salvage divers.

interested in a "re-union" trip. This time not to drop dies, but to get them
aboard again. (I see a very big crane in those photos) :)
The only thing else needed would be deep sea divers, who would cost quite a
lot of money....Another thing - how deep exactly is the ocean where the dies
were dropped?
Who wants to go fishing?
Ah, one can dream right!
Anyway, it would be great to have those dies recovered. Right now there are
plenty of body parts left (new and used) but I continue to think about the
future of the DeLorean. It would be nice to know that those dies were in
safe hands. Lets give them to DMC Houston :)
