ooh - a rhetorical eBAY question so I have to chime in Ryan.... People do have a right to privacy on eBAY, and it always makes me distrustful too, altho I have to say I've always had good transactions with private buyers. But with what I do on eBAY, I find that often my buyers are buying for resale and don't want their customers to see that they just flipped something I sold them. It's much easier to create separate identities for buying and selling but most people just haven't figured that out yet. And maybe, too, they just don't want their friends/mothers/spouses/bosses to know what they're buying or selling. There was some talk a few weeks back on the eBAY announcements about limiting private auctions but I haven't seen anything more about it and honestly, I forgot the gist of what they were saying. ..............................LP >For the life of me, I cannot figure out why eBay allows sellers to >hold auctions like this. That, along with letting people make their >feedback private. Seems like a terrible idea to me. Yahoo!
