Hello. The original logo fell into disuse. Anybody could have staked a claim against it- you, me, anybody. The new dmc company in houston had the wherewithall, and cleverness to recognize the opportunity and register essentially the same trademark. Very shrewd. 1. When they registered the new logo, nobody cared enough to defend the original. I'm talking about going to court, not whining on the internet. 2. Since then, they have diligently defended their new trademark. 3. Now they have a long history to demonstrate that the logo is theirs. Only a would-be previous owner of the trademark would have a case against them. Since there aren't any, the logo is theirs. They were there at the right time, saw the opening, and exploited it perfectly and legally. Rick. > > what do yall think?
