  Check out http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html - if you leave the 
width the same (195 and 235) this will let you modify the wheel size and 
then find the tire sidewall size that will give you a close match to the 
stock tire diameter. . . so ultimately you can have the same size rims 
all around (thicker in the back), but will still have fatter rears to 
match stock diameter.
