Many gas stations sell "white kerosene" for about $2.25 a gallon here.
You may also use plain old diesel in most space heaters - check your
manual to confirm. Diesel is just a kerosene and oil blend.

Not $12, $60. I go through about 10 gallons.
Yeah, $60 is cheap for a season of heating. But then, when you figure
it's really only a dozen or so 2 hour sessions in the garage... Well,
that kind of sucks. I should be paying more like $20.
