Wouldn't it be more Christian to  give him a chicken?  I mean no 
disrespect to you Ryan, and I'm saying this with a modicum of levity.  
Please understand that I have no religious training  - but didn't 
someone say "give a man a fish and feed him for a day, but teach 
him to fish and feed him for life?"  Wouldn't supplying the chicken be 
much the same?  Unless he ate the chicken  - but that would be 
shortsighted of him.
