Isn't it amazing what a five second Google search will find? The current
exchange rate for USD to Iraq Dinar (IQD) is as follows.
1 USD = 1,469.60 IQD 1 IQD = 0.000680457 USD
>From what I could find, the average Iraqi income is equal to $597.00 USD.
So, that $0.05 USD nickel you are screaming about is a lot of money to them.
Some people here bring home in a week what they make in a year. No wonder
they think we are all rich.
Granted they are in the middle of a currency exchange so exchange rates can,
and do, change.

So, if we assume the crude oil is FREE (how that is
possible, I have no idea because it takes effort to
pump it out of the ground!), then the refinery process
only adds $0.05 to a gallon of gasoline?
Of course, we are also assuming that the new "free"
Iraq has no taxes.
I still wonder, who will bring freedom to us. :(
