The DeLorean puts out 130hp at the flywheel. I know the 1.7 Citroen XUD turbo can be tuned to 110bhp, and the torque is much better. I don't know anythign about the Renault engines but at 2.1 litres should be capable of much more If any of you guys wanted to buy a Renault 21 turbo-D on ebay UK, I think you'll find it cheaper to ship the whole car out to the US in order to use the engine, and you'd get a spare gearbox as well Martin
