HOORAY!!!!
Let's turn the United States into a giant carbon-copy of Cuba! :p
But seriously. Here in the US, I'm watching a show called "Xtreme 4x4
TV" on SpikeTV. The same network which airs the show "Trucks" that was
mentioned earlier, that demo'd the home Biodiesel equipment. Their
building a kit car right now on a 1987 Chevy Suburban chassis. It's a
Hummer H1 knock-off. But what's interesting is they're swapping out
the 350ci gasoline powerplant, for a DuraMax diesel motor, with dual
turbos. What really makes this interesting is Banks diesel not only
built the engine, but have a custom Fuel Injection system for it.
Don't know if it's going to be a Common Rail Diesel system, but I'm
dying to see both it, and how they tune it.
Nevermind the archaic vintage diesels from the DeLorean era. There are
far more superior, and modern diesels out there for an engine swap.
