You need to define "better". If "better" means "more power regardless of
anything else" then you might be right. However, carry on following the
evolution of a particular engine and technology more than makes up the gap.
You prefer carbs because it gives more power than K-Jet. Why not go
*forward* instead of back and look at the late EFI PRV's. I have a
10.5:! compression 24v 2975cc with hydraulic tappets and balance shaft.
That's rather a nice engine and sh!ts on your carb'd lump in every
single way. Smoother, more powerful, cleaner, more economical and very
easy to work on..
And before you go bleating on that carbs are simpler. If you actually
took the time to learn a bit about electronic control, you'd realise
that batch fired injection, wasted spark engine control is actually a
damn sight *simpler*.
But it needs a computer.
But hey, you're using one of those now, so don't go hating -all- modern
technology, will you?
