Hmmm,
That comment about "explosions" is not a cool thing.
I am from the space coast here in FL, and I was at the
beach surfing during the launch. I saw it go up.
Anyhow, since I live near Kennedy Space Center, the
shuttle program is one that is near and dear to me.
NASA does not equate to NASCAR for me. It's very sad
when astronauts are lost, and I do not watch the
launches in hopes of seeing "explosions" or
catastrophes, but to support our "troops" in space.
I remember where I was at the time the Challenger and
Columbia perished, and I wouldn't want to see another
thing like that happen.
NASCAR fans love to see wrecks, and odds are drivers
come out walking. Our space boys and gals arn't so
lucky if something goes wrong.
So have a little respect.
Anyways, for all that don't know, and a lighter note,
I am the new owner of Jeff Friday's car #5945. I
should be getting it soon late August from NC. So
Randy now has a Delorean! Jeff is a super cool guy.
Thanks all,
-Randy
