What about the race riots of LA in the 1992?
That got pretty close.
If I was a store owner, and 100 thugs were trying to torch my business and 
loot it,
I would be popping them left and right and they would scatter like roaches 
with the light on.
THAT is what guns are for, to give the single man the power to protect 
himself.
Guns are what won the west, and the east, north and south for that matter.
The citizens ability to fight our own government is what makes us different 
than
other countries. We bow before no king in this sovereign nation.

Don't ever think for a minute that we are too far along as a people to not 
still
have war with ourselves. Don't you watch the news?
The whole planet is at war in some way or another.

Let's say a major recession hits, the stock market falls again and the 
economy
drops because we have over printed the money a million times past every gold 
brick
in Fort Knox.....there is terror on the streets and thugs every where.
The cops are not going to help, because there is not enough money to pay 
them
and they can make more money else where....then what?
It will be guys like me with his guns that will be safest.
That's all there is too it.

The point of owning a gun, and the creed that goes with it is:
"I would rather have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it".
