It's cool you are getting your car going. Is it running and driving yet? I
hope to fire my engine up soon, just before the body and frame part company.

Subject: [DMCForum] SS Polish & Parties
A while back I posted that I found a ss polish called "Aqua Steel" I
tried it for the first time Wensday at the mini car show at the retro
80's party at my church. The polish works wonders, I only did the
door and the front left quater panel. I wish I would have taken my
camera because I was under the neons lights, the door was pretty.
When I said mini car show, my car was the only one:) But I seemed to
be the only one to notice the flaws on my car. The tires were dirty
with pollen, the front air dam is falling off and the stabilizer was
hanging, the rims are butt ugly and the car was dirty. I had two
minutes to wash the car between getting it off the stands and leaving
for the party. It's hard to push a car uphill singlehandily, DMCs are
heavy dudes. Nonetheless it was a complete success. Nearly everyone
in the church sat in my car (around 200), and I got the usual kid
telling me that the "DMC was the first car to have lambo style
doors". I conferted a few guys that before hated DeLoreans with a
passion and by the time I left one of them wouldn't get out of my
car. I am going to join a local car club so my car will be in shows
often, but who here cares about that?
