Regarding your last sentence, I'd broaden the parameter to be either a
non-daily driver or a non-head turner.
I've secured an extremely reliable vehicle for slightly more than
$10,000, but its overall condition is not competitive with higher
dollar DeLoreans. That's why I do not participate in traditional
(judged) car shows.
My DeLo is indeed an ongoing project, albeit one that travels up &
down the east coast extensively.
