What is a "wire-feed non-mig"? 

Lincolns are good, but I have a Miller mig and tig and they work great.
Thermal Arc makes a nice reasonably priced machine too...

Lincoln!  I just bought a wire-feed non-mig for light duty stuff, but in my
research, almost everyone recommended the Lincolns.

 

Try taking a look at Northern Tool and Eastwood to see what they have (they
might carry Lincolns - haven't checked).  If there is something you like,
let me know.  I can get you 10% off or so through the Project Vixen site.
