RE: [DMCForum] Results of Car Show - update

Other than the Monte Carlo, that sounds like a hard group to be in.  I
wonder why they put you in that group.  What the hell is "body plating"
anyway?

If there is room on the Yahoo section, scan your judging sheet and post it,
minus any personal information of course.

For those following this thread here are the final results:

The cars in the same class were: 1968 Chevy Impala, 1979 Olds Hurst,
1985 Monte Carlo and 1967 Cougar.

I got my judging sheet and I received a total of 63 out of 125 points.
Some of the points (out of 5) are - Paint 3 (I don't know how he got
this one as only the facias are painted) Body Plating 0 (duh! there's
nothing to plate) Interior 3 for everything including the top (the
headliner is brand new) Exhaust 3, the exhaust is three months old and
is either stainless or ceramic plated, no rust. And the final one that
I will list is  Judges Discretion Appearance Overall Condition - 10
out of 25 points, now my car is not a concourse car but I think 10 is
a little low.

I actually ended up enjoying the show and met a young kid, 16 years
old, that loved DeLoreans, knew all about them and he was excited when
he got to sit in it at the end of the show.

If anyone is interested in the Judging Worksheet and the hints the
organizer told me just let me know.

Thanks
Max
